Neolook app for iPhone and iPad

Neolook is an online archive system for web database construction to store visual images produced in South Korea. It was initiated in 1999 to effectively chronicle visual images generated in society.

● This is an online storage system to view the invaluable work of contemporary artists who have tried to stay in tune with global while not losing touch with the local.

● As non-material data has accumulated for the last 10 years, Neolook has worked to sense changes in the art community including artists, curators, art critics, collectors, museums, alternative spaces, galleries, biennales, art fairs, art auctions and exhibitions.

● In June 2011 Neolook presents another way to read visual images in the App world considerably different from the Web.

네오룩은 남한의 시각 이미지 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 온라인 아카이브 시스템입니다.

● 네오룩은 사회와 함께 호흡하며 만들어진 시각 이미지들을 효율적으로 기록하기 위해 1999년에 시작되었습니다.

● 각자의 지역성을 담보하면서도 세계 감성과 발맞추려 노력하는 시각 이미지 생산자들의 소중한 결과물들을 확인할 수 있는 온라인 스토리지인 셈이지요.

● 10여년의 짧지 않은 시간과 함께 적지 않은 비물질 데이터들이 쌓이면서 네오룩은 시각 이미지의 변화를 감지할 수 있는 예민한 촉수로서도 기능하고 있습니다.

● 그리고 2011년 6월, 웹과 사뭇 다른 앱 세상에서 네오룩은 시각 이미지를 읽는 또 다른 방법을 제시하고자 합니다.
